Two new academics join the ICMA Centre for 2016

We're delighted to welcome two new academics to the ICMA Centre: Dr Andreas Chouliaras and Ms Lisa Schopohl.

Andreas is arriving from Luxembourg where he studied his PhD researching how information affects financial markets. He'll be teaching the modules: - "Programming for Finance" - "Introductory Quantitative Techniques for Business and Finance" - "Numerical Methods for Financial Engineering" View Andreas' profile

Lisa will be a familiar face to many of our students, she studied her PhD at the ICMA Centre with a focus on applied empirical finance, including socially responsible investing. She'll be teaching: - "Financial Modelling" - "Ethics in Investment Management" View Lisa's profile

A new research study by Professors Adrian Bell & Chris Brooks at the Henley Business School’s ICMA Centre has found that there is no link between any measure of student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) and the percentage of staff who hold formal teaching qualifications such as membership of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), although the authors noted a paucity of available data on this variable.
