Two staff gain academic promotions

The ICMA Centre is very proud to be able to announce the recent promotions of two of our academic staff.

Drs Carol Padgett and Simone Varotto have both been promoted to the level of Senior Lecturer within the University of Reading.

These promotions round off a very busy and successful year for both professionals with Carol launching her latest book and Simone the recipient of a prestigious university award.

The ICMA Centre would like to extend its congratulations to both and thank them for their ongoing commitment to, and support of, the centre, its work and its students.

Professor Adrian Bell, Head of the ICMA Centre, and Volker Nienhaus, Visiting Professor, have been invited to speak at the upcoming conference organised by the CFA Institute, “Realising our Potential: Investing for Sustainable Growth”, 9-10 April- in Jordan. The conference is the fifth Annual CFA Institute Middle East Investment Conference and aims to bring together industry leaders.

Centre launches new Senior Executive Programme with CIOBS

A joint initiative by the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland (CIOBS) and the ICMA Centre at Henley Business School, this intensive three-day residential Performance through Professionalism workshop is designed for directors (executive and non-executive) and other senior executives to develop and demonstrate an in-depth, professional understanding of the industry's new landscape.
